The Collectors Database can ease this
task. |
| This Database has been
specifically designed with the collector in mind. Whether
you are a serious collector or just collect for fun, this
database will prove to be invaluable. The
database could also be used as a catalogue to keep a
record of valuables for insurance purposes. With the
facility of referencing and displaying digital images and
storing the current value of the items in your
collection, providing a comprehensive list is made easy.

a simple frontend menu the user can carry out the following
tasks:-

View all details for a
particular item in the your collection
View, add and edit details of suppliers
View, add and edit details of manufacturers
View, add and edit locations where items of your
collection may be situated
Make enquiries about your collection and present the
information in a printed report
Re-value individual items or increase the complete value
of your collection
Print a complete listing of your collection or filter
information
Print a summary detailing information such as number of
items, total value etc
Set security levels and enter user accounts for the database
Change the name of the database and set the location of
your picture files |

The database has eight descriptor
fields which can be configured to reflect the type of collection. So what
ever you collect, these fields can be personalised to match your needs.
The database
comes packaged on a compact disk. Displaying of pictures utilises the
graphics filters supplied with Microsoft Office. Your PC will need to be
loaded with a version of Microsoft Office if you intend to store and display
pictures.
Simple installation instructions
are included.
There is also a comprehensive help page. Every database also comes with three months free support.
Software package will run
on PCs operating Windows2000/NT/ XP, of at least 120Mhz
and have 20Mbytes free disk space. A version of Microsoft Office is
required on the PC to display pictures.
